BARCS The old Baltimore city animal shelter was rescued itself
by Barcs, ( Baltimore Animal Rescue Coalition)
a non profit group that has had one of the best turn arounds in the
country.
DEFENDERS OF ANIMAL RIGHTS Located in Monkton Md,
a great no kill shelter that does an awesome job of getting these
animals into there forever homes.
HUMANE SOCIETY A national organization dedicated to helping
animals of all sizes.
AKC The American Kennel Club, known for its preservation of
breed standards, has an excellent link under the Breeds section
for Breed rescues!. All AKC Breeds have a breed rescue!!
Therefore if there is a specific breed you want or love you can
truly save a life.
BOXER RESCUE I love Boxers!! This organization is near and
dear to my heart. Please consider this playful,sweet, breed to be a
part of your family!
PIT BULL PROJECT Kathy Homan is the founder and operator
of this amazing organization. Their goal is to provide low or no cost
spay and neuter of Pit Bull's. This ensure's they won't be stolen
and bred for fighting or bait. Kathy is an amazing women who has
done this all on her own. Donantions and Vet services are greatly
appreciated.
HAPPY HOUND HOTEL Nestled in the serene town of Hanover
Pa, backing to a huge State Park. Our friend, the above
mentioned Kathy Homan, has been reinventing this once rundown
kennel. Now with new outdoor play facilities and soon to house
The Bark Market, Kathy and her professional dedicated staff are
open for business!
